Her career has been dedicated to combating this devastating disease through innovative vaccine development, with a specific focus on enabling large-scale vaccination initiatives in developing nations. Demonstrating her dedication to scientific progress, she has dedicated her $500,000 VinFuture Special Prize, along with personal funds, to expand ideSHi (Institute for Developing Science and Health Initiatives) in Dhaka, Bangladesh, to strengthen the country’s scientific community.
