GENERAL INFORMATION:

VinFuture Prize is a prestigious global science and technology prize that aims to recognize and encourage exceptional individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions to the advancement of human progress. As part of our mission, we are currently seeking two (02) candidates for Collaborator positions, including Member of the Scientific Secretariat and System Operation Support. These are two independent collaborator positions. Each candidate will be assigned a primary scope of work corresponding to one position. JOB DESCRIPTIONS :

  • Supporting the Secretariat in planning and implementing key activities; working with Nominators, the Pre-Screening Committee, Prize Council, and Laureates, and evaluating projects submitted to the Foundation.
  • Performing desk research on the Foundation’s planned initiatives.
  • Expanding the expert network of the Foundation.
  • Providing information for Marketing and Operation teams to support the implementation of key activities.
  • Carrying out other tasks as required by the

JOB DETAILS :

Depending on the assigned position, the collaborator will be responsible for some of the following tasks:

I. System Management & Operation Support (Technical Support):

  • Coordinate with the technical department to identify issues and propose solutions (code/logic).
  • Participate in building, planning, and clarifying requirements for upgrading features on the Foundation’s operating system.
  • Perform testing (UAT/PROD) and report bugs on the Nomination, Evaluation, and Backend portals.
  • Monitor system upgrade progress with contractors.

II. Webinar Process & Automated Communication Management:

  • Manage guest lists and implement automated email workflows (invitations, confirmations, thank-you notes) on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) system.
  • Set up Survey links and send calendar invites via Outlook for the Foundation’s events.
  • Process and standardize data for potential partner/nominator lists (Leads).

III. Scientific & Secretarial Support:

  • Screen and classify Science and Technology projects (S&T projects) based on selected criteria.
  • Perform other arising tasks as coordinated by direct management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidates are expected to hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field of science or technology. In exceptional cases, candidates who have completed or are about to complete a Bachelor’s degree in natural sciences or technology, with a classification of Good or higher, may also be considered if they can demonstrate strong research potential. Preference will be given to those with a solid background in one or more of the following areas: Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science.
  • Ability to do research, survey, evaluate and find out the actual problems and needs.
  • IT & Complementary skills: Strong logical thinking and a basic understanding of software systems (training will be provided); proficient in Outlook and Survey tools; priority will be given to candidates familiar with Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) (familiarity is an advantage; training will be provided where necessary).
  • Excellent office skills, data storage, and office administration.
  • Ensure accurate data and be proactive in work
  • Ability to organize, classify scientific work, and synthesize reports well
  • English: Preference will be given to candidates with an IELTS 7.0 or higher. Candidates with an equivalent IELTS 6.5 or who can demonstrate the ability to comprehend technical documents and communicate effectively in English may also be considered
