Dr. Hai Le obtained his Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Chung-Ang University (CAU), South Korea, in 2020 with a full scholarship for young scientists (CAYSS). He recently completed his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney), Australia.
Before pursuing his studies abroad, from 2016 to 2018, he worked at the Institute of Materials Science, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, where he focused on researching electromagnetic wave-absorbing materials across different frequency bands. During his Ph.D., he was awarded the Australia-DAAD collaborative scholarship and conducted a five-month research project at the Technical University of Munich. His research during this period focused on applying optimization algorithms and machine learning to artificial materials, aiming to develop intelligent wave-guiding systems.
Currently, Dr. Le’s primary research focuses on leveraging advanced 3D printing technologies to fabricate reconfigurable structures and devices capable of controlling wave propagation in different media. This emerging field of materials research holds significant potential for applications in communications, energy, and biomedical engineering.
With over nine years of intensive research experience, he has published 16 scientific papers in leading international journals spanning materials science, applied physics, and engineering, including Advanced Materials Technologies, Physical Review Applied, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, and Optics Express. Additionally, he serves as a reviewer for prestigious journals such as IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, Nanomaterials, and the Journal of Science: Advanced Materials and Devices.
