With an unwavering dedication to spotlighting pioneering scientific breakthroughs, Season 3 of the “Unveil the Future” podcast continues to bring together visionary leaders whose transformative research and innovations are shaping humanity’s shared future.
In the second episode of this season, we are honored to feature Dr. Hoang-Long Du – a Vietnamese pioneering researcher in green ammonia synthesis, and is presently an Australian Research Council Fellow and Senior Researcher at Monash University. Dr. Du’s research has led to the founding of Jupiter Ionics, an Australian green ammonia company, where he currently serves as an academic consultant. With nearly a decade of experience, Dr. Du has co-authored influential studies across the Nature and Science journal families, including a landmark breakthrough in Nature that achieved near-100% efficiency in lithium-mediated nitrogen reduction. His research has laid the foundation for next-generation green ammonia technologies with enormous potential for both clean energy storage and sustainable agriculture.
Earlier this year, Dr. Du joined VinFuture’s InnovaConnect event in Da Nang in May 2025, to share his vision on how to translate research into practical and renewable-powered ammonia production devices, contributing to a more sustainable and resilient energy future. In this inspiring conversation, he reflects on his scientific journey, the promise of green ammonia, and the role of international collaboration in accelerating the global clean energy transition.
