Environmental pollution driven by rapid industrial development, particularly water and air pollution, has become an urgent global issue. At the same time, depletion of fossil fuels due to unsustainable consumption has led to serious environmental consequences, forcing the world to make the imperative shift toward renewable energy sources.
In that context, hydrogen is considered a highly promising clean energy source, with water splitting regarded as the most environmentally friendly method. To further explore solutions for sustainable development, the VinFuture Foundation is collaborating with The University of Da Nang – University of Science and Education to host the inaugural InnovaConnect event of 2025 on “Innovative solutions and materials for sustainable development”. With the participation from the esteemed panel, the event aims to promote scientific collaboration between domestic and international researchers to address and propose solutions to pressing environmental challenges in Vietnam and globally.
The seminar featured the esteemed panel of 3 distinguished speakers:
  • Prof. Yeon-Tae Yu, Division of Advanced Materials Engineering, Jeonbuk National University (South Korea).
  • Dr. Hoang-Long Du, School of Chemistry, Monash University (Australia)
  • Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Thang Nguyen, Faculty of Physics and Chemistry, The University of Da Nang – University of Science and Education (Vietnam)
