In addition to organizing the annual award, in 2025, VinFuture will implement scientific activities to mark the 5-year milestone of operation.

Accordingly, VinFuture will expand the InnovaConnect program for all institutes, schools, and research organizations nationwide that wish to establish relationships with the world’s leading scientists and experts. The program aims to promote practical cooperation and sustainable development in the field of science and technology.

The Foundation will also further promote cooperation with international partners to organize InnovaTalk webinars, affirming its role as a bridge for international scientific knowledge exchange and sharing, as well as the mission of finding and promoting advanced solutions globally.

At the same time, VinFuture will continue the Top Nominators Recognition program for scientists who have made invaluable contributions to identifying and nominating innovations and technological solutions that have a great impact on humanity for the 2025 VinFuture Prize. This is also an opportunity to open up many opportunities for cooperation in developing science and technology in Vietnam.

Commenting on the fifth VinFuture season, Professor Richard Henry Friend, Chair of the Prize Council, shares: “After four years, the VinFuture Prize has consistently demonstrated its capacity to identify groundbreaking research with global impact, sharing the same vision with world-renowned, prestigious awards. This is evident in the impressive track record of five VinFuture Prize Laureates, who have subsequently been awarded the Nobel Prize. I am very proud that this year, the Prize’s recognition has extended beyond academia, honoring industry leaders like the CEO of NVIDIA, reinforcing the critical link between fundamental research and its practical applications in propelling the AI revolution and driving scientific and technological progress forward. As the fifth Prize cycle commences, I eagerly anticipate the new innovative projects and diverse nominations for the 2025 VinFuture Prize.”

The fourth VinFuture Prize season has just ended and received a strong response from the global science and technology community with 1,469 nominations from scientists across five continents around the world. The Prize has brought significant marks and successes while expanding the scale of connecting activities and inspiring the national science community.

With four successful prize seasons and convincing award results, the VinFuture Prize has demonstrated its fair and comprehensive evaluation criteria, aiming at diversity and the mission of serving humanity, creating positive impacts and improving the lives of billions of people around the world. Notably, the fact that many VinFuture Prize winners continue to be honored with a series of prestigious international awards such as the Nobel Prize, Breakthrough Prize, Tang Prize… has demonstrated the vision of the VinFuture Prize in early identification of works with global influence.
