In a rapidly digitizing global economy, AI has become a key driver of innovation, creating competitive advantages for businesses and organizations that quickly adopt cutting-edge technology trends. However, alongside its growth, the implementation of AI also poses significant challenges related to ethics, privacy, and data security.
The seminar “AI: Real-World Deployment” presents a unique opportunity for experts, businesses, and policymakers to exchange insights on the latest technological advancements, explore practical and responsible AI applications, and contribute to fostering sustainable development in the digital age.
The seminar is moderated by the globally renowned leader and innovator, Dr. Xuedong Huang, Chief Technology Officer of Zoom Video Communications (United States) and member of the VinFuture Prize Council, who holds over 170 US patents and boasts over 30 years of experience in the AI industry. Joining him on this panel are:
- Dr. Hung H. Bui is the CEO of VinAI, Vingroup (Vietnam). With his dedicated leadership, in less than four years since its creation, VinAI has become one of the top 20 Artificial Intelligence research companies in the world – the only representative from Southeast Asia.
- Prof. Minh N. Do is the Thomas and Margaret Huang Endowed Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign (UIUC, USA). He has contributed to several tech-transfer efforts, including as a co-founder and CTO of Personify and Chief Scientist of Misfit.
- Prof. Yann LeCun is VP and Chief AI Scientist at Meta (USA) and Silver Professor at NewYork University (NYU, USA). His current interests include AI, machine learning, computer perception, robotics, and computational neuroscience.
- Prof. Leslie Gabriel Valiant is the T. Jefferson Coolidge Professor of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics at Harvard University (USA). He was awarded the A.M. Turing Award in 2010 for work in machine learning, computational complexity and parallel computation, having been described by the ACM as a heroic figure in theoretical computer science and a role model for his courage and creativity in addressing some of the deepest unsolved problems in science.
