As artificial intelligence (AI) becomes increasingly embedded in everyday life, influencing decision-making processes globally, it is more important than ever to ensure its ethical, inclusive, and equitable development and deployment.

In this context, the VinFuture Foundation is collaborating with UNESCO to present an in-depth InnovaTalk webinar, exploring how AI can serve the needs of all communities—especially those in developing regions, including Southeast Asian and Latin American countries—while upholding core ethical principles.

This session brings together leading voices from the fields of technology, policy, academia, and civil society to examine the unique opportunities and challenges that AI presents for countries in the Global South.

The webinar is chaired by Prof. Soumitra Dutta, Member of the VinFuture Prize Council, Peter Moores Dean of the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford (United Kingdom). Joining him on the panel are:
  • Distinguished speaker: Mr. Jose Antonio Guridi, AI Consultant for UNESCO and Co-founder at Foresight Consulting (Chile)
  • Distinguished speaker: Mr. Adya Danaditya, AI Consultant for UNESCO. He is also the Group Product Manager INA Digital Edu, developing digital solutions for the Indonesian Ministry of Education (Indonesia)
  • Special Guest: Assoc. Prof. Phi Le Nguyen, Acting Director of the Institute for AI Innovation and Societal Impact (AI4LIFE) at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST, Vietnam)
