Dr. Cao Duc Phat is a reputable expert in the field of agriculture and sustainable development. He holds the position of Vice Chair of the University Council, Vietnam National University of Agriculture, participating in the development of education and agricultural research.

Since 2023, he has also been the Board of Trustees, International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), leading important research projects in the field of rice. He is also a member of the Global Future Council of the World Economic Forum (WEF) for the 2023-2024 term, engaging in global discussions on sustainable development. Additionally, from January 2024, he has served as the Management Council of the Disaster Prevention Community Fund, a charitable organization aimed at supporting communities in disaster response.
