Amid the accelerating evolution of artificial intelligence, the field is undergoing a decisive shift from task-specific systems toward autonomous, agent-based architectures capable of planning, adaptive reasoning, and dynamic interaction within complex environments. While these advances promise unprecedented efficiency and scalability, they simultaneously sharpen critical questions of reliability, alignment, governance, and the evolving scope of human oversight in high-impact domains.
In this context, the VinFuture Foundation, in collaboration with the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (USA), will convene the InnovaTalk Webinar titled “Next-Generation AI and the Era of Autonomous Agents.”. The session will bring together leading interdisciplinary perspectives to examine the development, deployment, and global implications of autonomous AI.
The discussion aims to advance a principled and forward-looking understanding of autonomous AI, ensuring that technological breakthroughs evolve in parallel with human values and ethical responsibility.
The webinar is chaired by Prof. Daniela Rus, Member of the VinFuture Prize Council, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA)
The session will also feature the participation of:
- Prof. Antonio Torralba, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA)
- Prof. Vijay Kumar, University of Pennsylvania (USA)
- Assoc. Prof. Tran Minh Triet, University of Science, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam)
