Emerging from an idea conceived in Vietnam, the VinFuture Prize has embarked on a remarkable five-year journey—bringing together some of the world’s most brilliant minds and honoring science devoted to the betterment of humankind. For Professor Konstantin Novoselov, 2010 Nobel Laureate in Physics and Member of the VinFuture Prize Council, VinFuture is not merely an award but a continuing journey to cultivate intellectual legacy and to sustain a spirit of service to humanity.
Professor Sir Richard Henry Friend, Chair of the VinFuture Prize Council, shared that what began as a bold idea five years ago has grown into a symbol of confidence in the power of science to serve humanity. For him, being part of VinFuture is not merely a mission, but a deeply inspiring journey—one that brings together brilliant minds from across the globe to seek out and celebrate the scientific innovations that have the power to change lives.
Over 1000 students, scientists and experts from Vietnam and abroad gathered in Can Tho for the InnovaConnect symposium, themed “Integrating Technology, Ethics, and the Human Element in the Future of Healthcare”, co-organized by the VinFuture Foundation and Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP) on October 23. The event reaffirmed the VinFuture Foundation’s vision of fostering sustainable digital transformation in medicine — in Vietnam and worldwide.
